意外❗日本は大気の綺麗な国

本日のお題は、地中海西岸地方やアジア諸国の大気汚染のお話。

意外なことなのだが、大気汚染ワーストランキングでは、日本はかなり下位なのだ。

Japan ranks 159th out of 189 countries in the PM2.5 concentration ranking in urban areas.

日本が比較的大気汚染の少ない国になったのには、1967年の公害対策基本法以降の政府や自治体や企業の努力に負うところが多い。

Before 1967, Japan was the worst country full of air pollution.
After Basic Law for Environmental Pollution Control being enacted in 1967, many attempts has done to improve pollution issues.

日本の大都会近辺の河川や海水🌊はまだまだ汚いが…

Rivers and sea near big citys have been polluted.
But they became less polluted recent years.
Example, the quality of Tama river which flows south of Tokyo Haneda airport has been improved after the Water Pollution Control Law was enacted n 1970.

羽田空港の南を流れる多摩川は有名な河川だよね😉。

高度経済成長期に公害まみれになった日本が努力でここまで「比較的綺麗な大気の国」になったのだから、

If worst emission countries like Nepal🇳🇵, Qatar, Saudi Arabia do effort like former Japan, It is possible that air pollution level drop.

まだまだ希望を捨ててはいけないってことよ😁
